Neon Drift Loop
★★★★☆ 4.4
Neon Drift Loop strips racing down to its core: no upgrades to grind, just you, a car, and a corner you keep taking wrong until suddenly you don't. The whole game runs on a single tap-and-hold drift mechanic, and mastering the release point is weirdly addictive.
The tracks loop, hence the name, so a run is about chaining perfect drifts until you either wipe out or beat your ghost. I spent a whole lunch break shaving a second and a half off one course and felt ridiculous about how happy that made me. The soundtrack pulses along with your combo, which sounds gimmicky but really works.
It's a short game if you only want to see the tracks. It's a deep one if you chase the leaderboards. Either way it controls beautifully.
