Foldpaper Heist

★★★★★ 4.6 Editor rating

Foldpaper Heist has one of those ideas that feels obvious the second you see it: the whole level is a sheet of paper, and folding it connects rooms that were nowhere near each other. You're a tiny thief threading a route while guards patrol, and every fold rearranges the maze.

The difficulty curve is nearly perfect. Early levels teach you folds one at a time, and by the end you're planning three folds ahead while dodging patrols. I got stuck on one heist for two days, refused a hint, and the payoff when it clicked was fantastic.

The art looks exactly like colored construction paper, complete with little creases and shadows. It's charming, it's clever, and it never overstays a mechanic. Easily one of the best pure puzzle games I've played this year.
